I’ve been active in the field of literary translation since 2004. To date I have translated over ninety books of various genres. I specialise in translating historical fiction and non-fiction biographies. A significant amount of my translation back catalogue consists of works on the fringes of various genres, which avoid easy classification, and books by authors with Middle- and Far-Eastern roots writing works in English with a universal message. Although I don’t reject any particular genre, when I choose books to translate I’m always guided by the quality of the text and try not to compromise in this respect. In literature I most highly value skilfully written stories, which enrich and captivate readers. There’s a list of the authors below.
